Healing Highway

Healing Highway is back on the road, and this time it’s taking a slower lane.
Beginning Sunday, January 4, 2026, Healing Highway becomes a monthly, pre-recorded video and podcast, released on the first Sunday of each month on the Faith and Good Courage YouTube channel and on Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
The story will also be available in written form on the official Healing Highway Stories page here on the Faith and Good Courage webpage.
This is everything the original series offered, now given room to breathe. A deeper pause. A longer look out the windshield. A chance to sit with a story and carry it into the week ahead without rushing toward the next thing.
Healing Highway was born on the backroads of Route 66, where long stretches of desert remind you that life keeps moving even when you feel stuck. Out here, the wind carries old stories, the pavement carries new ones, and the silence between mile markers becomes part of the healing process.
People come to the road for all kinds of reasons. Loss. Burnout. Anxiety. Change that arrived too fast. Or the quiet realization that life pushed them off course. Healing Highway exists to say this clearly: you are not alone out here. The road has helped people find their bearings for generations, and it still knows how to guide a wandering heart.
What Healing Highway Is
Healing Highway is a monthly video and stand-alone podcast rooted in mental wellness, spiritual reflection, and lived experience along Route 66. Each episode blends real stories with warm humor, plain-spoken faith, and practical insight for everyday life.
These stories are filmed in ordinary places — diners, quiet overlooks, motel parking lots, small towns that still believe kindness is a reasonable way to live. No hype. No hurry. No performance. Just storytelling, honesty, and the reminder that healing usually begins with one small step.
Why Monthly Matters
Some stories need space. Healing Highway was never meant to be consumed quickly or kept on a tight schedule. These episodes are written and recorded in moments of breath, not marathons.
A monthly rhythm allows the stories to arrive with intention, not pressure. It gives listeners time to sit with what they’ve heard, carry it into their own lives, and return when they’re ready for the next mile.
Who This Is For
Healing Highway is for anyone carrying something heavy. People stretched thin. Folks who lost their spark and want to find it again. Anyone navigating grief, recovery, anxiety, or a season that feels unfamiliar.
It’s for the person sitting in their car before going inside. For the one awake at night wondering what comes next. You don’t need answers to be here. You just need a willingness to keep going.
Your Host
I’m Chaplain Christopher Tuttle, known by many as The Route 66 Chaplain. Healing Highway is my way of giving back what the road gave me when I needed it most.
Across the first seven episodes, and now in this ongoing monthly series, we explore stillness, community, resilience, forgiveness, and hope through real experiences on America’s most iconic road.
